On Education

The education level in this country is at an all time low. Illiteracy levels are climbing on a daily basis. We need to stop teaching students what to think, instead teach them how to find answers for themselves. Stop peer-group promotions they do not help anyone learn. Standardized tests do no good all they tell you is that a student can at best memorize facts and at worst they are just really lucky. Illiteracy should have a zero-tolerance policy if you can not read by the end of elementary school then you should repeat it until you can. I hate to be harsh but we are 18th out of 24 countries in education maybe it’s time to fix that.
