The Economy

As you know our economic situation is desperate. As such a drastic solution is needed. I have a proposal for such a solution outlined as follows.

1. Price stabilization, especially on everyday necessities such as food, gas, rent, and utilities.
2. A mandate that every company or business employ a certain number of employees at a certain wage based on the size of the company and the population served.
3. A small business equivalent to the homestead act of the 1800’s as follows. A subsidiary to anyone wanting to start a small business for startup and 1 year of operation.
4. All loans to businesses in the last 5-10 years shall be forgiven or put on hold until our economy stabilizes.
I realize that all this seems drastic, however at this point in time it is what is necessary. All that has been done in the past have been no more than band-aids on a gapping wound. F.D.R. was on the right track with the New Deal but came up short. I do not propose these things lightly, but I see them as a solution rather than a short term fix. I know that our country can bee good again, but it will take these actions to do so, half measures are no longer acceptable.
